A lot of people have wondered why bad things happen to good people. And while we may never know the correct answer, it is important to remember that terrible things happen. Criminals that haven’t been caught are roaming our planet and they usually take advantage of good people like you and me. This is why it is important that you purchase a TAZER and learn how to protect yourself with it.
Consistent practice makes for perfect useage and this applies to self defense as well. Having a TAZER is a good start, but there are several things you need to practice in order to make it an effective tool for self defense. And yet you will have all the advice that you require in order to be fully ready at the end of this article.
The hardest part about defending yourself with a weapon is actually using it. Most of the time people are not generally used to harming others, this of course is a good thing most of the time. But when someone is coming at you with a weapon or are threatening to harm you, then you don’t really have a choice. So, in order to overcome the fear of attacking someone else, you should practice attacking a dummy or inanimate object.
You should practice “attacking” the dummy in these ways. Remove the batteries and also the cartridge out of the TAZER. (You should take the cartridge out because they are expensive. Also but if you discharge the drive stun part of the gun without any contact to skin, it can damage the electrodes.) Next, practice reclaiming the stun gun and aiming it at the intended target. Practice this until you can do it in one smooth motion. Then practice drive stunning by jabbing the “tip” of the weapon toward the neck and just below the rib cage. Depending on the actual dummy you use, you may want to think about driving your stun gun into it or you could consequently inflict damage on to your weapon. After practice inserting a cartridge and removing it until it is one smooth motion.
As a result you will find that ample practice builds confidence in your technique to use the TAZER. It is a good idea to practice until you can work things in a smooth motion, and then practice at lease once every month. Which means you will always be ready for the worst scenario and as a result will be able to hinder anything bad happening to an individual.
